 About Our Pharmacy - Providence RX | Tulsa's Community Pharmacy 

 Lisa has been a Pharmacist in practice for over 34 years in the Tulsa area with a varied background in retail/community, hospital, non-profit, home infusion, compounding, clinic-based and managed care.  

Providence RX was founded in 2012 as a clinic-based pharmacy to serve the patients of the Mind Spa clinic practitioners. The pharmacy relocated in 2016 to the new location at 7301 S. Yale in Tulsa and is under new ownership as of August 2018. Our goal is to provide pharmacy services that value each customer and provide a personalized service that is missing at large chain pharmacies. At Providence RX we measure our success by the happiness of our customers. Your satisfaction is our top priority. Our new location has allowed us to serve more than just the clients of the clinic in which we are located. We extend our services to anyone who lives or works in our surrounding area, as well as to patients of the many clinics and hospitals nearby.

I received my doctorate in pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2008 and then spent six years practicing as a pharmacist in the community setting in the St. Louis area before beginning studies for the Roman Catholic Priesthood. I was ordained a priest in the Diocese of St. Louis on May 23rd, 2020. In addition to my theology studies, I am pursuing a certification in Bioethics through the National Catholic Bioethics Center.

My services include discussing the mechanism of action for drugs, identifying potential side effects and how to address them, and recognizing drug-drug interactions. Also, I am available to discuss the effects of pharmaceuticals on fertility, especially as related to Natural Family Planning and Fertility Awareness based methods of family planning. I am certified through the American Pharmacists Association in vaccination and travel health, and am happy to consult on any questions you may have that are related to these areas. Finally, I have a special interest in the ethical use of vaccines and biological pharmaceuticals, including products derived from aborted fetal tissue and issues surrounding the HPV vaccine, and am ready and able to discuss your concerns and questions regarding these topics.
